Simple, low cost installation
Most photovoltaic modules have a relatively low efficiency of ~20%.
However, more efficient multi-junction cells (up to ~45%) require a 2-axis sun tracker and high optical magnification for cost reasons, which massively limits their range of application, as the entire panel must track the sun. An installation on e.g. rooftops or balconies is therefore very difficult and hardly possible.
SolPure solves this limitation with a fully integrated, internal sun tracker that allows the more efficient module to be easily installed, like conventional PV modules.
